I try to be as straight-forward as possible. I've had genital herpes for roughly a dozen years and oral for more than a half century and I do read some of the articles and studies published in peer reviewed journals as well as some of the discussion forums and am fortunate to be able to consult with some of the respected medical and research professionals, so that's where I'm coming from. I'm just telling it as I see it from my non-medically trained perspective. I don't believe that I've ever started a topic here, but I do respond with my thoughts when someone is asking a question that I feel I can answer.

You're right, now that you mention it, that it does seem that the alternative side of the scale is not quite so active here as it was a couple of years back. I have no theory as to why that is other than, perhaps, folks are deciding that it doesn't provide a benefit relative to the cost. I really don't consider that it's due to any active campaign on my part.
