Educating Not Medicating

Curezone's slogan is "Educating Not Medicating". What does this mean to you?

I ask this question because I'm noticing quite a few posts on this forum stating that there is no cure for herpes and that the medications Acyclovir and Valtrex are among the best treatments for the virus.

While it's true that a cure has yet to be discovered (emphasis on the word "yet"), my impression of this forum was that it exists to encourage one another as well as to share opinions and progress reports on which natural remedies work and which don't. Seems that conversations on natural remedies as well as hope for an eventual cure are being suppressed now in favor of drugs and the idea that there is no cure. What happened?
