Re: Esoteric Question? Iodine water purification...

I feel your pain, we haven't used the jacuzzi or the pool(above ground) in two years now. I wonder if being iodine-sufficient would negate chlorine's effects? I do recall a post a while back that said that chlorine is preferable to bromide...
I do know that Iodine is used in Europe.
And, I have absolutely no idea where one could get I in sufficient quantities for water purification...
Time to put in a pond... ??
