If I ever have another pool I will install an ozone generator. An Iodine based system would be possible, but the permitting required for Iodine storage could be problematic. In some states you would be subject to RTK and Community RTK, and have to develope an Emergency Response Plan, send information to neighbors etc. A real pain in the a**.
