Yes, 1lb a day sounds about right, and it is what I lost after a while on previous fasts. And yes, I usually lose more at the start, and I am loads overweight too. But I am not complaining at the higher than usual loss! Maybe my body needs nutrients from the fat cells, and needs to crack open a few more than usual to get at the good bits, and the unwanted bits are expelled in my urine. Spoken like a true layman, I am thinking to myself!
