I had mirena removed around the same time you did (March 3rd) and I had it for 4 years. Just recently I had a BV too. At first, I didn't know what it was since I haven't had one before. The most obvious symptom was a very strong odor, but I had no itching. It went away on its own in a few days. It was very annoying as I hated the odor. I went to see a doctor, but only had a few minutes and didn't want to get examined. I described my symptoms to him and he said it sounded like BV. He said he thinks its a BV b/c of the odor symptom.
