Re: MC & weight loss FAQs

Look that lo carb and low calorie mindset is the very thing that will defeat you in the end. It's not about what you exclude. The whole thing is about inclusion and what you do eat. You can't diet the rest of your life. I'll say it again it about getting healthy and that will invloved an lifestyle change and regular exercise not avoiding carbs and calories.

The whole fasting for weight loss forum is full of disfunctional dieters because they are seeking the quick fix through fasting and the mentality is mainly about low carbs and calories. The sooner you reprogram your thinking that it's not that you are overweight but just simply not healthy and approach it form a "getting healthy" lifestyle change mindset the sooner you will be on your way to a thinner HEALTHIER and happier you.

A large number of folks in the fasting for weight loss forum  have trashed their metabolisms with yo yo fasting without rest and rebuild periods of balanced nutrition and regular exercise  that they are caught in a vicious cycle cause now that their metabolism is trashed it's even harder and for some close to impossible to loose weight and they keep repeating the same thing over and over and making things worse and worse and getting sicker and sicker and living slave to what they eat. These chronic dieters also have a much higher probability of developing other illnesses and complications from nutritional deficiencies.

You should focus your energies into researching balanced nutrition and regular exercise without that as you main focus in my book you are pretty much doomed to fail. The other reality is not to expect much from a 10 day MC as that is the minimum recommended. It takes the system 3 to 4 days just to empty itself and around  7-8 days to adapt to fasting so 10 days you are barely scratching the surface. It takes around 2 weeks before the causative agents are cleansed out an after that is when the real cleansing at the cellular level "begins". For >me< I won't even bother doing anything less than 21 days.

In an earlier post I mentioned that studies have been done that it takes 21 days to break a habit.
