This is my first MC, so each day is something new for me--but from what I've read, the Master-Cleanse (perhaps any fast) will cause the metabolim to slow because it's taken a break from the energy needed to digest food, to clean house, and it will take the body some time to get back into the groove of digesting. So I will be super cautious in the following weeks to keep my diet full of healthy choices, and on the lower end of the "point" count (that's WeightWatchers talking). It'll be a bit easier for me because I rarely eat meat. Being a carnivore, you will have an added challenge, and you'll have to get psyche yourself to maintain the good work you did on the MC. Too bad there is no magic pill!
