Re: Will Adaptive Yoga Classes help improve balance?

Two months ago, I began taking an Amino Acid 'L-carnosine' for the (hopeful) benefits of protecting my skin. I am almost 68yo, a bicyclist and cycle 12mo/year, therefore spend a lot of time with my skin exposed. The recommended dosage was 500mg, 2/day...after about 5 weeks, I noticed that my need to support myself to towel off, when exiting the shower was not as necessary as in the last 4-5 years. Standing still also had me moving around as though I were on a boat with lightly tossing waves; even walking a straight line seemed impossible. However, after 8 weeks of L-carnosine, I am free of the imbalance. It's almost like being reborn. I want to mention that there is NO data to substantiate this affect; but it did happen to me. I can stand 'balanced', walk a staight line and exit the shower, grab the towel and begin....no wavering :)
