Re: "PAINTING IODINE" elminates a Fungal Infection

Hi All, Some years ago I had a little chestnut Welsh pony mare who had bad thrush in her feet.She also had cystic overies and was a 'rat bag' with the kids.I cleaned out her feet each day and painted them with iodine. In about 3 weeks the thrush cleared up in her feet and her temperment/seasons settled down.She turned into the best jumping pony and a real pet. I later found out that Iodine is well absorbed through the feet - even a horse's hoof!
