Re: bee's knees
ok, so this is weird. I was reading your reply to me and DH says "hey, didja hear about the earthquakes in China?" no- I am avoiding media these days.
Anyway, lookee here:

He said that the faults that are here and the ones in China are related... ?
My knee is fine:) Another weird thing, after I hurt it I got sciatica for a bit! *hey sister*:) Anyway, being a good little research gal, I found out that the best thing for sciatica is to MOVE! That's right, Princess, get thee off that tufted cushion and go for a walk. It's gonna hurt whether you move or not, so you might as well get out there and work out the kinks!
Also, body mechanics in general....During this time I've become increasingly aware of a very poor habit I have of crossing my legs. I dunno about you, but that's how my mom instructed me to sit. So, it's always the left knee over the right, or the left leg tucked under the right... So, the left knee has, for years, been forced into an un-natural position because of archaic notions of modesty. And, I hurt my left knee, and the sciatica was on my left side...

egads, we women have to put up with a lot of pain and suffering!
So....I've been making a concious effort to NOT cross my legs! :) Aaaaah! the freedom!
