Chavez was recently on the news again.
Much maligned for getting rid of the central banks there and nationalizing many of the oil companies there.

John Pilger (respected journalist and documentary maker) made an interesting documentary that featured Chavez called "The War on Democracy" that was very revealing and very disturbing expose on the worlds resources and the US Govmts relations with these countries. Tweet
