Re: How can I naturally my hormone levels so I won't break out?
I've come to believe we are born with certain inequities; not everyone is the same...we already know this psychology-wise and the obvious physical differences but I think it extends to biology, too. From differences in brain chemistry to body chemistry (such as insulin in diabetes) to susceptibility to cancer, strokes and other life-threatening disease (now they can do genetic tests to determine if one's particular biology is prone to certain cancers, etc). We are as different on the inside as we are on the outside, contrary to what our
Science teachers led us to believe. Our bodies are not cookie-cutter machines acting and re-acting in exactly the same ways.
Particulary in adolescence, hormones start flexing their "muscle". There is much confusion in the body while they balance out...some never fit the category of perfectly "normal". That accounts for some of the testosterone-ridden hot rodders, while some are content to stay home and engage in less risky behavior. Pregnancy and menopause also wreak havoc with hormones.
There really is so much more going on than we know now. I think we have just scratched the surface, research-wise.
