Re: Rawrnr Re: fast before lipo?
Of course it is your decision, but lipo is not always successful. A friend at work had it along with breast augmentation. She had to wear a tight body suit for a couple of months to prevent the skin from wrinkling and sagging. Not all surgeons follow through with this and patients wind up with sagging dimpled skin and even misplaced belly-buttons. Hopefully your procedure will go fine, but there are no guarantees. If I were you, I would postpone the surgery, do a series of
Water Fasts over six to twelve months, then reconsider the invasive procedure. Give up every food on the planet that contains high fructose corn syrup, go easy on sweets and dairy. Drink water instead of sodas, most fruit juices and caffeinated drinks. Never, ever touch anything with artificial sweeteners. If you don't see the results you want you can go ahead and have the surgery. Meanwhile you will be much healthier and more likely to go through a risky procedure without problems.
By the way, my friend A now has size DD breasts that are rock hard, and a belly bump that feels like a huge water blister. I bet she wishes she had done more to sculpture her body naturally instead of winding up with an obviously artificial figure.
Your mind seems made up, but maybe this will help someone else avoid such a risky procedure. To answer your original question, I would skip the water fasting, you will have a lot of released toxins in your body and that might make your surgery even riskier than it already is. Good luck.
