Re: Too much to take in...

It is a lot to absorb and yes, you have to figure out what is the baby and what is the bathwater in terms of conflicting information here.

I would suggest that you take baby steps here and first start with diet and then when you feel comfortable with that, start making choices on the supps you will take for parasites/candida/replensihing good intestinal bacteria. You can ask people here what exactly they are doing to help themselves and most will be happy to tell you what's working for them or what they are now trying and why they are trying it.

Personally I wouldn't worry too much right now about the acid/alkaline issue but concentrate on not feeding candida, which means low carb. Fruit and meat are contrversial topics here in the Candida Forum . Most say no on the fruit; a few say no on the meat. I personally subscribe to meat and veggies as the mainstay and some moderate amounts of grains and starches and occassional fruits. I also believe in rotating foods because of the food allergies I gained because of intestinal permeability (leaky gut).

Keep reading. Yes it is a lot, but the alternative unfortunately is only to stay stuck.
