Re: SWAP (AC) vs. DC

I am wondering, because I bought some at the HFS before I bought the generator and it was tasteless, although amber in color. Mine tastes bitter either way. But, in DC mode it has stuff floating in it. However, the company I got it from sent a lot of information. And, I used "bitter" as a search word. It seems as though people feel the taste being bitter is normal. Also, Tom of Silver Puppy sent info that explained that I would see some black stuff on the electrodes and possibly some floating stuff on DC. But, on AC there was none of that. I would like to know what makes it taste so bad. I can't say I identify it as a metallic taste. That would be okay. Just bitter.

Anyone who understands what may be different, please let me know. Could the magnet itself be contributing to the mix? It is made of Neodynium, it is in the water, as well as some plastic tubing (very little).

Thanks
