SWAP (AC) vs. DC

I just began using my first CS generator, a Silver Puppy. The first batch I ran on SWAP (AC) the 2nd on DC. As expected the first batch showed no "sparklies" or corrosion on the electrodes. The second batch had obvious specs of silver throughout, and corrosion on the electrodes. The difference I didn't expect was the ppm. In the first batch it was about 10, in the second it was about 20. Is that because it hasn't settled yet?

Also, when you do have the floating visible silver, does that settle out? Do you then pour it into a different jar and the visible silver will stick in the jar it was made in? Is it safe to drink right away, or how long should you wait?

I tasted the 2nd batch even though it did have floating silver. Both batches taste bitter. I know my water is good because it is Walgreens and I bought a tester. So, I read old posts and it appears many people experience the taste as bitter. Oh well, I sure wish I wasn't a "taster". Apparently, some of us have a genetic difference in the way we perceive bitter tastes.

Anyway, answers on the floating silver would be appreciated. Thanks

Marj
