Thank you for the directions to reduce the size, Rabbitears. I have now reduced them, and you were very right, it does help a lot to view its contents.

I am a little bit freaked by the size (length & wide) of having these parasites inside me. Is the size a measurement of some sort of how long I have had them inside me or how good guest I have been feeding them or some other clue to justify its size? I had assumed I had parasites, but to see this size parasites coming out of my tummy is a new chapter in my mental sanity :) ...I would really need to find a "because..." or at least a potential because to its size.

Also, some of my pics show the worm quite flat at parts, making me think it was a tapeworm, but then no segments on the surface discarded tapeworm. I though of ascaris as being perfectly round. Mind you, I had the ascaris in formol for about 10 days, so it could have dehydrated itself, although I remember the edges being flat from the momet I fished them out. BTW, in my 1st post with pics to this forum, 70428 identified something looked like a worm in the middle of the jar lid. Putting it all together now, it looks to me like if that was the transluscent/clear gel-looking long thing in my 1st pic was the "shirt" of a worm(ascaris?), while the worm itself was not within or alternatively a very young ascaris. Do you think this might be the case or do you have other hypothesis? see

Do you have some good reading about ascaris: how you get them, how to avoid getting them, how to detect you have them without actually meeting them, their anatomy (I've found a couple of images in google of disections of ascaris, and seems like if the critter are quite complex beast).

LAst but not least, I am now having psyllium & bentonite shakes to do the cleaning of walls in my GI. Any contraindications of doing this while having evidence of ascaris? I am doing fine (well, I do not enjoy bowel movements when taking p&b but at least I have them once a day), but just wondering.
