I got a chance to look at the cucumber link. Thanks! Quite interestingly, and not surprisingly, eh?, it specifically sites cucumbers beneficial for inflammatory conditions, and specifically for the skin!
I'm glad I indulged my daughters instincts. I already knew it was a good food and am now recalling that yes,
It is 'watery', 'cooling' and 'soothing' especially for 'heated' conditions!
The bacterial imbalance (initiated by the inflammation) is a 'hot' condition of sorts.
If you don't have skin imbalances or any other 'hot' condition, you may just be attracted to it for the minerals to help cool you down during the summer!
