Re: Feelings of fullness/abdominal distention during colonic vs. enema
Although new to this myself I have done 2 hydrocolonics so far and multiple enemas on my own. The hydro is to me a bit more relaxing and comfortable. My hydro therapist does an excellent job and good communications. The fullness or pressure is minor by the control she uses. She checks and massages my colon during the process and most of the time she will release before I have to say anything about feeling too much pressure.
As for self administered ememas I have been working myself up in trying to fill more to cleanse better. I never make myself cramp or get to a uncomfortable feeling. I work with breathing an limiting my fill amounts usually 1/2-1 cup of water at a time. I have started using a flowmaster bulb system and found it to be even easier and allows me to take in more water in a session. I do use
Sea Salt in my water that helps retention time and fill amounts. I try to work with water at 99-102 degrees F. I use goat milk soap and salt in my first fill, then peppermint and lavender oils with salt and water on my second and third fills.
I normally get 2-3
quarts on each session sometimes my last session can take a bit over 3
quarts but that is filling to my maxmimum. I switched from a emema nozzle to a colon tube and found that makes me more comfortable and better rates of fill.
Hope this is good info. I have to travel almost 200 miles to stop in with my hydro therapy office but work travel has allowed me this option every couple of months.
good luck
