If that meets your standard, so be it, but you may want to refer to a genuine source of definition for "indigenous natives".

As it is, compared to actual indigenous Mexicans from the 1600s and forward, us latter day 10th to 20th generation immigrants (give or take a few generations) do not cut it. Is it really fair to characterize invading Europids as having "bred out out of town" the previous generations of natives evicted from the southern borders, California, Texas, Arizona and New Mexico? Federally evicted, swindled, hoodwinked and otherwise cast out at the barrel of a gun and, when that failed, by hook or crook, is more realistic..... and it is exceptionally difficult to not notice that the name New Mexico is made up by the word - Mexico.

Nonetheless, if that really is your standard of measure, there is not much to genuinely say in reply to such a notion other than, oh well, life is like that, what comes around goes around.

The last time "it" came around for the previous nation of native american "indians", they were bred out of existance by way of being run out of town, railroaded out of town, diseased out of town, slaughtered out of town, heads on a pike, treatied out of town and the relative few of them remaining were banished to desolate outposts "reservations". In retrospect, at least they as a former nation of native people ended up with one of their own - Geronimo and or Sitting Bull, who's cranium was posthumously dug up to serve as a calling card symbol to one of the more covertly prominent, ritualistic, cult-based federally friendly fraternities cranking out many of this nation's most deranged and beknighted movers and shakers the past 100-plus years. If and when us V2 "natives" ever meet a similar "bred out of existance" fate, we should be so lucky if V3 natives (indigenous Mexicano-American natives, as you say) were to memorialize the skeletal remains of one of our own. What goes around comes around.....can you say Montezuma's revenge, "on new deal steroids", as it were .... taxpayer-funded welfare / healthcare new deal steroids at that?
