It does seem like the spicy foods may be a worm deterent, maybe that is why people naturaly eat a lot of spicy foods in some countries where it is easy to get parasites. As in, the regional cuisine favors the spicy pallette. My husband eats chilis like habaneros, he puts chilis on everything, and he still did expell some worms after 30 days on Clarkia , and then a trip to a sauna! Guess that last type of heat was the last straw for the invaders. It would be interesting to find out what is in that Nepalanese (a word?) medicine.
