I have also been wondering about Iodine dosage. I went from 1/2 tab of Iodoral to 1 drop of Lugols to 2 drops (just today) and my ears started ringing which happens when something stresses my system. The bottle says 1-2 drops/week. I know people on this forum take up to 10 drops/day. These dosages vary radically. Don't know what the Iodine Doctors recommend. Maybe you could try Iodoral as it seems easier on the system.

Is Iodine supposed to help the prostate? I have also been using sole (Himalayan salt liquid) and magnesium lotion. My prostate issues have greatly improved for a variety of reasons...is there a prostate forum? (I'll have to check)
