Records are pretty big business on E-bay, especially high-end records. With some exceptions, rock LP's made in America are not worth as much as Lp's from other countries, especially the UK, maybe because so many more of them were pressed here. The Meet the Beatles on VeeJay you reference is actually called Introducing the Beatles and was the first Beatles album planned in the US, although there are still questions about whether it made it to the stores before Meet the Beatles. It is the most counterfeited/bootlegged of their American releases. The first copies had pictures of other VeeJay releases on the back and so these are referred to as Ad-Backs. Around 1000 stereo ad-backs were made, plus possibly 10,000 monos. Later pressings had the song titles listed in columns on the back. The stereo ad-back is one of the holy grails for US Beatles albums. I've got two, one of which I bought from "fifth Beatle" Perry Cox.
