wowee! i have owned close to ten thousand records in my life. i sold 8+ thousand at one time. i have about 600 left. one of them is is a meet the beatles on vjay. i opened the plastic on it but i think its a bootleg. still, its never been played. i also have some colored 45s for jukebox use, also pristine. i mostly kept the albums i liked to hear and the ones that i thought had some money in them. i have original pfunk - cosmic slop and maggot brain! also the coven gatefold album that has the black mass all written out int he middle. they are the band that did "one tin soldier" for the movie legend of billy jack. i got rid of a lot of cool records, rare country and psychedelic stuff. not much classic rock. most of it i ran across was junk. also, i couldnt find much elvis or beatles in my price range. i rarely ever paid over a dollar for any of them and less than a quarter for many of them. i bought an unopened copy of buck owens first record on la brea records for a dime. it booked for $100-200. i had kiss rock and roll over with the bonus cartoon sticker sheet intact and the jimi hendrix album with the bonus 45 and the original lynyrd skynyrd street survivors withthe band all in flames. lots of stuff like that.
