He was thrown out, although there are a lot of theories of why this happened, from bad drumming to the fact that he was considered the best looking of the lot and drew the most female attention (so jealousy). He lived a very ordinary life and was pretty broke until Anthology was released in 1995 and the royalties from this made him a millionaire (probably a number of times over).
