Don't we just have to accept who we are though?

I used to feel that way but my life has never been about conformity. I am 33 years old and by now let me tell you...I know myself pretty well.
I do not stick to diets. I am not always able to eat healthy. I do not always get to or want to work out.
So...
That being the case, fasting is always going to be part of my life. If for no other reason than to cleanse my body of the crap I occasionally put in it, and to take off a few extra lbs I tossed on when something happened or I got lazy.
And I do get lazy. And that is ok. LOL We are not going to go to hell for being lazy. There is no evidence that fasting is bad for you less you not get enough nutrients to keep your body running healthy. Ie green tea takes a lot of that worry away.

Also fasting doesn't mean NO FOOD. Fasting means drastically reducing your calorie intake, which more has been proven to lengthen ones life.

Lets not take everything the FDA says at face value. After all, these are the people who until recently had us on the same fattening food pyramid they use to hefty up beef cows... EEEKKK!!!

I know fasting periodically is good for you. YAY US!
