Re: Thank you Luella May
Dear Tony and Chris,
First of all Tony, your words mean so much to me, thank you.
And Chris, I thank you. You are very sweet, and a wonderful friend I might add.
Walkingdead, that I hope by now has changed his name to ... well, I won't give it away.... suffers from a condition that is much too common in today's world. A "poor soul" he is not. He merely suffers from the human condition. Depression and hopelessness begins with a feeling of helplessness that snowballs out of control. And that helplessness grows out of a feeling of not being worthy, or lack of self esteem. I daresay that the majority of us suffer from this in one way or another. When push comes to shove, it's all about love. Love for oneself. And when we love ourselves, we are able to keep our best interests at heart while, at the same time, loving others.
And no, he does not need to thank me, really. We are here to help one another in this vast planet of ours.
Glatians 6:2
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."
And this is what I live by, a bit paraphrased to what I want my life experience to be:
"Don't walk in front of me, for I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, for I may not lead. Take my hand, walk beside me, and let's journey through life's wonders together."
Hugs,
Luella
