There has been speculation that Bush is going to 'arrange' something to happen later this year so that the election will be called off and he'll stay 'president'/dictator forever. Well, he already got Admiral Fallon out of the way (military commander of the Middle East vowed that an air strike against Iran won't happen "on my watch"). Even the threat against Iran will enable Bush to claim a 'terrorist strike' 9/11 style, but Cheney has always wanted to bomb Iran anyway, so maybe we'll end up with WW III instead.
