Re: What is One's or One's community's consciousness to
karma.
i realize this sounds heartless when seen as any person's 'idea'-- So, for instance, "I" sound heartless to suggest such a thing. Yet the keynote of karma (that is ignored by most popular ideas of what karma *is*)and the most crucial aspect(or "law") to consider, is that time is elastic.
In the continuum of lives "time" as we know it is nothing. There IS another truer perspective. The prime reason to "awaken" or become "enlightened" is to 'reverse time'.
The reversal of time equates to the emitting of light--at which point karma (or the accrual of it: as much 'banked' as any traditional "savings" )
stops.
meanwhile, in the accumulation of lifetimes, a balance is sought-- the traditional way is that if one participates in the cause of an effect, they will likewise experience that effect.(or cause)
The important thing to realize is that we are mostly somnambulists, and almost no one on this planet remembers where or who they were before this life--(but some do!)
so much so that they actually believe this life is *the* (only) life.
The truth is, it's not.
And--in the broader truth of all *souls (lacking a better word) heading toward enlightenment, even suffering that looks to us as terrible
is NOT terrible. From the higher self (never absent from any person)
the greater truth is --all is seeking balance, and just as Abraham says :
all is well.
