one of the most effective protocols for fasting is within the context of a healthy lifestyle.
Unless someone has serious or even mild health problems, or even a desire to lose weight, a tried and tested regimen is to fast 7 to 10 days twice a year, coupled with a No Breakfast Plan outside of the fasting and re-feeding period. If this includes good living habits on top of that ie....adequate rest & sleep; eating only when hungry and drinking when thirsty; judicious sunbathing with plenty of fresh air and exercise.
This was (and probably still is) the protocol of Dr Keki Sidhwa, one of, if not THE longest established Natural Hygienic Doctor in the World.
