In Jim Humble's book he mentions that Miracle-Mineral-Supplement is very effective in oxidizing metals. Also, it is carried by the red blood cells like oxygen. This means that it will go to areas that are well supplied with blood first, like the brain, liver, lungs, heart, etc. Jim says that the chelating effect is comparatively very fast. he says it only takes a few weeks to eliminate metals. For me, that is hard to believe, since regular chelation can take many months or even years.
After you have worked your way up to 15 drops thrice daily, you are destroying all the pathogens and toxins that can be oxidized, except maybe some that are deep in bone or other areas not well served by blood.
