What does MMS act against?

The buzz on Miracle-Mineral-Supplement generally refers to it's action against pathogens: virus, bacteria, fungus, etc. But I'm wondering if most of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement benefits are really from it's action action against old chemical, heavy metals and metabolic residue stored down deep in our cells. If 2 doses of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement in 1 day wipes out malaria, it seems that several days of MMS would wipe out all pathogens. So people that are taking serious doses of MMS for weeks / months and still feeling big effect--is this primarly from MMS action against pathogens or is it more likely indication of deep stored toxins?
