Re: SilverFox - Are we confusing concentration vs quantity?
Hello DudewithIBS,
I believe there is some confusion, so let me see if I can clear things up.
MMS is a 28% sodium chlorite solution. We are adding a 5 - 10% solution of
citric acid to it in order to generate chlorine dioxide.
The free chlorine dioxide is what we are measuring in ppm.
A 6 drop dose of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement (28%), activated with 30 drops of
citric acid will generate the same amount of chlorine dioxide as a 48 drop of Stabilized Oxygen (3.5%) activated with 30 drops of
citric acid .
The whole emphasis on the free chlorine dioxide ppm has to do with people feeling sick when taking
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . At high concentrations of chlorine dioxide, the body reacts the same way that several people have indicated they are reacting to the higher doses of
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . People who are around high levels of chlorine dioxide exhibit vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.
It just so happens, that the same reactions are observed from a detox reaction. My efforts were to try to eliminate any reactions from overly high concentrations of chlorine dioxide.
If you mix up your dose and measure that it has around 10 ppm of free chlorine dioxide, drink it down, then get sick, you may be getting sick from the high levels of chlorine dioxide. However, if you mix up your dose and it is diluted down to only 3 ppm chlorine dioxide, drink it down, and get sick, you are probably going through a detox reaction.
It seems that if you are in the grip of a sickness like the flu or malaria, your body can stand higher levels of free chlorine dioxide. However, if you have a more subtle illness like tumors or
parasites or fungus, you need to be more careful of the concentration of the dose you are taking. In this latter case, a longer treatment with fewer drops may be a better way to go.
Your final question is very thought provoking. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. It would be interesting to set up a test to determine if a few "shock" doses perform better, worse, or the same as a whole bunch of "metered" doses throughout the day. This type of testing is what is needed to move MMS forward, however it is beyond my capabilities or funding.
