Just as an anecdote: I wasn't overwieght much when I started my 7 day fast about 6 weeks ago (6' male with a BMI of about 25). I went from 192 to 174! I'm about 183 now, and starting another 7 day fast tomorrow.
I never lost less than 2 lbs any of the days I was fasting. Unfortunately I quit recording my weight after I was done with the fast. This time around I'd like to keep a close watch after the fast to at the very least assess the water weight amount (which I speculate to be about 6-7 lbs)
Anyway, in my experience it seems like a great way for a person just slightly overweight to go to an ideal weight.
Congrats on your 10 day fast... I promised myself 7 and thought about 10, but quit at 7 because I was honestly bored and at a good weight.
