Tell me...
Would this oxidation process occur without the silver?

then tell me, why use the silver at all if it is not needed?
Could there be another way to encourage this oxidation with something other than the silver? Another "colloidal" mineral/element perhaps? Or, just a bio-available mineral/element, not necessarily a colloid.
What does ionic mean?
Definition: A chemical link between two atoms caused by the electrostatic force between oppositely-charged ions in an ionic compound.
Examples: There is an ionic bond between the sodium and chloride ions in table salt, NaCl.

Sounds like acid/alkaline balancing to me :-)
What is discussed ad nauseum on this forum?
What does colloidal mean?
1. Chemistry
a. A system in which finely divided particles, which are approximately 10 to 10,000 angstroms in size, are dispersed within a continuous medium in a manner that prevents them from being filtered easily or settled rapidly.
b. The particulate matter so dispersed.
I know several methods of accomplishing this... you seem to be the one with the "one track mind".
Are we learning anything yet :-)
fascinating :-)
