If your M.D. told you specifically that he wanted to put you on "biltricide" for ascarid, personally I would find a different doc. Biltricide or praziquantel has no effect on nematodes and is prescribed for Tapeworm or trematodes. Not to mention, if you had an ascarid "blockage" of the colon, which is considered an actute surgical emergency, you probably wouldn't be here typing this message. In any case, best luck to you.
