Re: Hives!!! BUT WHY???

Nuts, chocolate, shellfish, tomatoes, eggs, berries, and milk are all culprits in causing hives. A surprisingly fresh foods cause hives more often than cooked foods. Food additives and preservatives may also cause hives.

You reacted to the cookie in 30 minutes which indicates the the problems occurs as soon as the food enters the small intestines; the duodenum or close by. Where the food is absorbed.

Bile is recycled in the body and can become contaminated with substances (drugs and food bi-products) that can themselves trigger hives with certain foods. Chocolate is well known to trigger the demand for bile. You may want to eliminate more bile by eating foods rich in pectin; a high fibre. Bile attaches it self to the pectin and is eliminated in stools. Two apples a day, or apple juice will start the process but a Liver Flush will stop and restart the biliary cycle with fresher, less toxic bile.
