Re: Beginning a longer water fast

Welcome on a board, Dyrnwyn! :)

I am Nadia and now my day 7 in the process!:)... It is possible to feel that u are quite determined to start your fast and complete it successfully. I think it is very important to have that determination while fasting:)) I FELL you will be just fine ;)

Just please be careful while exercising. The purpose of fasting is not only weight loss but mainly (if not on a first place) to detoxify your body. And to detoxify it successfully and with better results you need to give it a complete rest when ever possible. Dont worry you won't loose your shape and efforts spent exercising so hard dramatically. U will gain your mussel shape back shortly as soon as u complete your fast and pass refeeding time (after u return to normal amounts of HEALTHY food) then yes. So either stop completely or keep exercising 1-2 times a week but without going to extremes. Ok?:)

About a kidney issue I don't know (sorry). So if this question bothers a a lot then either wait for answers of other professionals here or go to
http://www.fastingconnection.com/frontpage.html
to the section 'Advice'. There you will find a list of professionals who can answer your question for sure. But remember most of them can charge you for their consultation. Wait here for Chrisb1. May be he will come up with something:)

Ok, what a beautiful day outside and what a great idea you are with us, Dyrnwyn!:)

You will be just fine!

Nadia:)
