Progress So Far....
After just three days of Inversion Therapy - I'm Hooked!!!!
Actually I was hooked after my very first session. That is by far the most fun I have ever had upside down ;) Actually it's the only fun I have ever had upside down.
With a slight amount of nerves it took me no time at all to start to feel comfortable and in control of the machine. It took only 3 days to completely invert, which I didn't think I would be doing for some time yet.
My only criticism of my machine is the that the feet locking thingies aren't that comfortable. I need to have them really really tight in order to feel safe, but having them really really tight can get quiet stressful on the ankles and feet. This morning I took to wearing very thick socks which helped only a little really. I do have very thin boney ankles and have to use the tightest setting on the machine. Maybe it is something I will get used to. Or maybe it is just a downside to inverting.
Now I know this sounds silly, but I actually do feel taller after inverting. The feeling doesn't last that long, but at 5'2", feeling taller for any amount of time is a bonus. After the first couple of times my legs felt a little sore, but no big problem. Just don't think they are used to being upside.
It's actually very freeing for me. I have never even done a somersault. I detest roller coasters or anything that involves me being out of control or upside down. But I guess that is the difference. I don't feel out of control at all. I know I can get upright again as soon I want to. And it's very relaxing.
I expected some bad headaches afterwards but didn't get any. Every time I have had a chiropractic adjustment I have ended up with a migraine. But no ill affects from my inversion so far.
I am just having such a blast. I LOVE THIS!!!!
