Macular Degeneration

Hi,
First of all let me thank anyone who has taken the time to read my post. Here in Australia there does not seem to be a lot of alternative help/products for my condition. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with wet Macular degeneration in one eye. The vessel attached on the outer edge of my macular so i can still see 20/35 in that eye. My specialist tells me that it is unusual for someone my age (now 30) to get this disease but that it is not the same as AMD. I seriously think it had something to do with the weed i has smoked 3 nights in a row (don't usually do that and woke up on the 4th day with a blurry spot in my vision). He treated me with Photodynamic Therapy and visudyne drug which closed off the vessel. It has been stable for 2 years until today's visit when it showed it had started to re-bleed (6 weeks between last check-up and today). I had my first intraocular avastin injection today. I can't have Lucentis because I am not over 50. typical government.
For the last 2 weeks i have been using Dr Christopher's Eyebright Eyewash (i'm up to 8 drops)and I have been drinking a tea using 3 of the herbs in his formula. I have started on the proper tea 3 days ago. What I would like to know is could this have made my eye worse and should I continue on this program? Has anyone successfully reversed their MD using this program. My stats are 30 yrs, 140kgs, 6ft, i had lasik surgery 4 years ago. Any help would be great. thanks Tweet
