Re: Having a bad night- semi monthly freak out

Hey,

I started my period yesterday (noon az time) and unbelievably... I started to feel anxious in the afternoon and then I woke up in the middle of the night with my heart racing.

I have been to cardiologist several times and I have all the test (with holter included) and my heart is fine. I know I am obssessed with my heart now post-Mirena. I always check my pulse and start worrying when it is too rapid (I had a few episoded of all the symptoms of heart attack when on Mirena ... of course it was panic attack... and the anxiety that it will happen again must be deeply emmbeeded in me now).

After several experiments on my body I know for sure that this Mirena anxiety is blocked the best by the beata blockers (I got atenolol from my cardio for palpitations)... after 30 minutes I feel calm... an effect that Xanax/ valium/ antihistamines are not able to achieve. The beat blocker shuts your adreanline .. so I am convinced that Mirena is somehow responsable for adrenaline fatigue that we must be suffering from.

I went to my acupuncturist today, I feel a lot better after his anxiety treatment, he has also showed me the accupressure for anxiety. He said again that I have to detox my liver as it is not working properly and this affecting greatly my blood circulation.

Let us know hoe you are feeling and dealing:) with post-Mirena stuff,

Mimi
