All major healthcare companies have medicare supplement programs
with the providers that are attached to the program ( as in the case of your wife's clinic)

Aetna, United Health, Blue cross/shield, Assurant
There are a few more- but not many

and the lettered options a-j are for all intents and purposes the same

the doctors and the costs may vary slightly

This is the back lash on all the corrupt and me doctors wwho have been billing Mdicare with false billing for oh 40 years now.

Now we get to pay for it ourselves..

and as you point out it is not cheap

Universal helath care will be much the same, adn administered by the same type of civil servants

Also the fraud billing in Workers comp and other rvenues, traffice accident settlements by car insurance companies etc., like Geico etc.

It all gets passed down to us in a mmillion different ways

There is not free meal, even if you are a crook, we all pay for your dishonesty, and there is indeed a level playing field..even if it is rigged to look to good to be true
