Wow, some of you really know your stuff!

There were some very educated answers provided here. It is so nice when there are intelligent people who have taken the time to educate themselves and then are willing to pass their knowledge onto others.

I would love to hear an educated opinion from a doctor, microbiologist or other specialist in the field of biology who actually understands how these things work, but I guess that won't be today.
