No... and then, to a certain extent yes...

I was a health nut in my late teens... then married a junk food junkie and medical insurance biller... now medical office manager. We have our share of doctors, nurses, physicians assistants etc. (in fact, probably 70% of our friends) and even pharmaceutical representatives as friends; most of the rest are teachers.

I bought into their lines and went their route... then I woke up again when I felt I was dying, and said to myself, hey! all these people are wrong and I am not going to listen to it any more! I guess I was just another sucker for believing them and their misinformation... if I did not accept responsibility for that, I would not be here, or where I am health wise, today.

There have always been swindlers and carpet baggers; our parents knew this and taught most of us. That we were taught to trust the corporate equivalents of this scum by our elders, teachers, clergy and politicians is where some of the fault lies; they should have known better. But they were scammed... better living through chemistry :-)

The following of these teachings unquestionably, especially when we intuitively knew\know better (I never took one of their pills without a side effect), lies with us.
