Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate very much. I had a question about your thyroid issues. Do you still have them? Did you ever start on thyroid replacement meds due to your hypo? If so, are you still taking them? I am just wondering as I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a month after getting the Mirena. I had no symptoms of hypothyroid until that point. It just hit me like a ton of bricks over the course of a week or two. My antibodies for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis were off the charts elevated and my TSH was 147. I've heard that estrogen dominance can contribute to thyroid disorders, so I'm wondering if these problems were all caused by the Mirena. Just wondering if your thyroid issues have improved at all since removal of Mirena.
