How long before you notice the difference?
Hi everyone, my fast starts tomorrow (well, I guess technically tonight, as I'm done eating for the day and am just enjoying my Crystal Lite right now). I was wondering... how soon do you start to notice the differnece in body weight and how your clothes fit? I'm trying to curb my eating now before I have to go buy a new wardrobe, most of my clothes are tight right now and I just want them to start fitting normally again! How far into the fast do I have to go before clothes will start loosening up on me?
Also... I'm not really into the whole juice fasting thing, simply because I'm a college student and I don't have a juicer (nor can I afford one!) and I've heard that packaged juices are bad. So, I guess I prefer a water fast, but I have a problem... I really hate water unless it's ice cold. Is it ok to drink Crystal Lite or something like that? That's essentially water with some flavoring. What about diet soda? I'm a sucker for diet sodas, and they really help me when I have a craving. I especially think that diet sodas would help me in the first few days when I'm detoxing like whoa, but will it keep me from going into ketosis? What about coffee or tea? I love hot drinks; I tend to get cold easily and hot drinks fill me up and keep me warm.
Any advice anyone could give me would be much appreciated, especially from those of you who have been there before. I do much better when fasting when I know that there are others out there who are doing it with me or have done it!
