From my own personal experience, if I ever take an enema where significantly less comes out than went in, the only way to avoid very unpleasant discomfort is to take another enema to attempt to stimulate a more complete release.

Whether it was a coffee enema or soapsuds or just plain water, the only thing I have found to get the remainder of the water out is a full bag salt solution enema taken at body temperature or one or two degrees below. Don't use just plain water, that might result in your body absorbing more of the water, and that can be quite uncomfortable.

But expect tremendous relief when you do eliminate the contents of that enema plus the previous one! This hasn't happened to me very often, but when it does I often feel a relatively cool release at first followed by a significantly warmer one which I believe is the remainder of the previous enema.
