You stole my car

Very involved long dream. I don't advise going thru all the symbols
as recall is spotty and this dream does seem to be compiled of ...
an assortment of stuff, like the last novel I read.

Anyway I was with someone else (guy?) We had arrived at a place (amusement park?)
and were looking for parking. I was on an overlook(?) and saw a place where cars were parked.
We decided to use that area. Next I was in a picnic type of situation with some females.
We were real close to where the car was parked.
They decided we needed to move, so we did. Don't recall the next part, but some guy
started getting nasty with me. Not sure if he was offering me drugs or sex or what
but I found it offensive, thought "I don't have to put up with this" and decided to
leave. In the process I couldn't find my purse. I had a bag with me but think it
contained a change of clothes. Anyway in the process of looking for my purse
I was in fairly good spirits. (Recall sitting on a disc that had wheels and being able
to propel it by holding onto the sides and leaning one way or the other. Was also
going uphill over a bumpy pavement.) I kept running into obstacles or dead ends,
having to turn around etc. Then my eyeglasses fell. Some man was trying to help me
look for them. When I found them they were broken. Not like an ear piece was off,
or a lens had popped out. They were in pieces, like someone had stomped on the
nose piece and broken both lenses and the frame. That was when my attitude
changed-and things went to pooh. "If I don't have my glasses," I lamented,
"then I can't see to drive." This reminded me of my car and I realized that
the last time I'd seen my purse was in the picnic situation, during the move.
So I figure if I go to the car I'll find my purse. Maybe it was in the car!
This too became an impossible task. While trying to find my car I discovered
a car thief ring- of which I was a victim! Somehow the owners of the vehicles
were being separated from them. Then the vehicles were "claimed" as "abandoned"!
A man was making an announcement about what a great place this was and how
he hoped that everyone would have a great time. Boy that got my goat.
This place was a setup, just a cover for a bunch of thieves! And I was gonna
blow their setup. I got up there (where the man had been announcing) but
my lips were stuck together, my voice wouldn't carry (didn't have a mike)
and only those closest to me could hear or understand what I was saying.
I saw a certain road and thought it was the vantage point from which I'd seen
where to park the car. "I'll prove it" I said. I went up the road only to find it ended
at a body of water. Everyone laughed at me. Later I was inside. There was an opening
in the wall. I climbed on something,(a couch?) and looked thru the opening.
Directly below was a river. Across the river was the lot where I'd parked my car.
The far side of the bank was littered with debris. Looked like parts of houses which had
been torn down and came to rest on the bank. Bulldozers were in the lot moving
stuff around. Seemed my car was lost to me. A guy asked me what year the car was.
It's a 2001, I replied, but it's only got 56 thousand miles on it.
His question seemed to imply it might not be worth much.
My reply indicated it still had a lot of life left.
Inside I was still fuming, "You stole my car."

Besides a novel about uncovering drug rings,
I've been reading a book called Love Without End.
It speaks of God as source of all and indivisible.
I've been indulging in dualistic thinking,
and believe that to continue... is detrimental.
