Antidepressants cause what is called akathesia which is a state of extreme agitation, restlessness, irritability, anger ,and loss of control due to frontal lobe damage. They also cause epilepsy as can be seen on eegs. This is probably what the Virginia Tech shooter was experiencing.If you want to call these symptoms increased energy, Muad Dib , be my guest .I call these side effects torture and I wish I never took antidepressants.
